Everyone enjoyed themselves at the premiere party for the film "Soul Assassin", in the cafe' "Dikke van Dale", in Leeuwarden. The actors Antonie Kammerling (left), Derek de Lint (middle) and the stage manager, Laurence Malkin, danced on top of the bar. The public cheerfully joined in also and fun was had by all.  It's not often celebrities and fans get to be so close but thanks to the respect shown by the fans here it was no problem to enjoy each others company

DeLint had to laugh. He enjoyed the party, "I never go out. It is nice to be at a party. And, it is nice for once to talk over the film with people. The distance between the film maker and the public is always great. Everyone here is very polite. No one has said to me that the picture is a cult film."

De Lint also thinks it is pleasant to be back in Friesland. (Derek's father has a vacation farmhouse there, which Derek visits often while on vacation in The Netherlands) "Here it is fantastic! It was a lovely rest. The friendships I have here in Friesland are close. Its what I live for." At the party, de Lint is quieter than his colleagues, but he danced on the bar and also sang.
